How can I join your tournaments?

To join our tournaments, simply register on our website to stay updated on upcoming events and show up on Wednesday nights our doors open at 630pm registration starts at 645pm - 7pm on regular tournament nights rounds start at 7pm 

What is the rating system for your games?

Our games are rated using the USCF rating system, allowing players to track their progress and compete at their skill level.Members can look up there offical rating and status on the USCF website . As an affilate for the USCF the SPCC can create new memberships & provide renewals for out-dated memberships .Must be an offical member to play rated games .

Minimum Guaranteed prize fund  $ 305 (based on 14 entries) the Prize fund will grow with more entries .

THIS EVENT WILL MAX OUT AT 32 PLAYERS 

***in the event of a tie for first in the OPEN - a play off will be played to decide the winner .

 

*To ensure all players get a game each round and help the smooth operation of the tournament, we kindly ask that 1/2 pt bye requests be limited to

 1 bye per player and you must notify us before round 1 starts.

*Players must understand chess notation - and use a score sheet .
